2 Corinthians 3 – Summarized in Poetry Form

Written on our hearts, you yourselves become our letter
Not with ink and stone, but with the Holy Spirit forever
Our confidence is not in flesh, but in Christ who makes us live
No competence we claim, save that the Lord has given
If the ministry that brought death had a glory of its own
How much more will glory be when righteousness is shown
The glory of the new covenant has far surpassed the old
Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold
We will not veil the radiance of the glory of God reflected
Instead we shine the hope that Christ has resurrected
The veil is removed and all who turn to him are free
Transforming into his likeness with ever-increasing glory
