Life Chain

So, I stood in the Life Chain yesterday and had some practice counting. The following are my observations:

1 Get Lost!
1 gag gesture
7 middle fingers (3 girls, 4 boys)
several cars speeding by close to the curb

1 trucker honking in approval
1 lady talking on her cell phone, honking and giving a thumbs up (dangerous, but supportive)
many many thumbs up, smiles, honks and waves

I think that, for that one hour of my life, people hated me more than I’ve ever been hated, and it was all because I was standing by the side of the road holding a sign that says “Abortion Kills Children.” That’s a silly reason to hate someone. But even though, this was a Pro-life rally, I would have preferred to hold the sign that says “Jesus Forgives and Heals.” The reason I feel this way is because I’d rather offer Christ to someone than the law any day.
